Over 170 FireWatch sensors successfully and efficiently operate in at-risk states in Germany.

Each year, representatives from the German forest offices meet to discuss current trends, issues and make future plans about the needs and demands surrounding wildfires in their states.

This year the group met at the Mirow Forest Office in the state of Mecklenburg-Pommerania.

Representatives from the states’ forest offices reiterated their content with the FireWatch smoke detection sensors and are looking forward to the planned upgrades of sensors.

Additionally, Alexander Singer, head of sales for IQ wireless, revealed closer insights into details of the soon-to-be-released IQ FireWatch Plus, the seventh generation of the smoke detection technology.
